Extramedullary Involvement in T/Myeloid Mixed Phenotype Acute Leukemia With BCR::ABL1 Fusion in a Hispanic Female Patient: A Case Report
MPAL is rare (~2–5% of acute leukemias), with the T/Myeloid subtype especially challenging due to its mixed lineage and extramedullary presentation. The presence of BCR::ABL1 further complicates treatment strategies. This case underscores the power of combining histopathology, immunophenotyping, and molecular testing for accurate diagnosis and early targeted treatment.
